I'm enjoying finding the portfolio of career choices that will leave a legacy to my daughter of what the world has to offer if you open your eyes to it. My plain first name coupled with my interesting married name (Hadjion) give me a unique label for who I am.

I like my name, it's simple, clean and easy to spell.

There's no interesting back story to why my parents called me Jane, I guess they just liked the name!

Worst thing is about being a Jane is that single syllable names mean people aren't very creative when it comes to nicknames.

I know at least six other Janes.

I agreed to be part of this project because it is the first time I have been asked to participate based solely on my name and I was intrigued and flattered.

I'm not plain Jane ... I'm powerful beyond measure and determined to leave the world a better place than when I came into it.
