MY NAME IS JANE COLLYER AND I WAS BORN IN NAIROBI AND I AM THE OLDEST OF FOUR GIRLS. I'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR OVER 40 YEARS TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND. WE HAVE THREE GORGEOUS DAUGHTERS AND FOUR GRANDCHILDREN.

I worked as a mathematics specialist secretary at universities in Western Australia, Papua New Guinea and at Monash University. Before retiring I made a sea change and worked as a kindergarten assistant.

I agreed to be part of this project because it sounded interesting.

My parents named me Jane because they liked the name.

When I was younger I wanted another name because all my sisters had much more unusual names
