I was educated in Northampton, England, studied European Studies with French and German at University of Kent in Canterbury. I danced from the age of four and nearly became a professional dancer! Music and dance is still my passion.

I spotted and acted upon career opportunities along the way via working in the VIP lounge in Nice Airport, then a Hedge Fund in Monaco, then senior roles in MS, DB and now Citi in London.

Today I have been helping with my four-year-old's homework and organising a large diversity corporate event for Citi.

My parents named me Jane because my surname was complicated to learn how to spell. They liked a short name that was feminine, strong and could not be abbreviated or changed.

I know three other Janes.

I agreed to be part of this project because I am proud of being a Jane.

I'm not plain Jane, I am tenacious Jane!
