I grew up with awesome, supportive, generous parents who divorced in my early teens and we didn't have much spare money so I worked hard out of school and then managed to travel loads, including living in London for a year and a few months travelling Europe. I worked at L'Oreal for 5 years and absolutely loved it; crazy, busy and everyday was different. My 'new life' as mum of two boys is the best thing I've ever done - they are clever, funny and happy - now we live a quiet suburban family life and I love it.

A standard day for me is an early start with the boys joining us in bed by 6:20 for cuddles and cartoons. Then off to 'ready set go' sports program for my three-year-old where he is learning to play T-Ball and burn some energy.

I agreed to be part of this project as a favour to a friend, and although I absolutely hate having my photo taken, the chance to get a nice photo with the boys was too good to pass up.

My parents called me Jane because they wanted a short but strong name that wouldn't date and wouldn't be too much of a mouthful! My maiden name is Sierakowski, it's a big surname that's tricky to spell!

Worst thing about being a Jane is the Plain/Tarzan/Calamity Jane jokes!

I never wanted another name but I always get called Kate or Sarah which I find weird.
