I met my husband over nine years ago when I was 18 years of age and we have journeyed life together ever since. He has been my rock as I graduated uni, started working full time and endured every storm life has thrown at us and celebrated every one of my victories as if his own. There is no greater joy or challenge in life than being a parent and I am fortunate to be able to be one of those privileged in life to call myself a mum.

And above all, I believe all I have in life has been given to me by God and that he watches over me, my family and everything I do. All my success in life, both personal and professional I owe to him.

My parents named me Jane after a character on Neighbours. What can I say, they love TV!

I think the meaning of a name is so important. When my husband and I were choosing my son's name, 'Jonas', we wanted the name to have meaning because I think a person can sometimes use their name to capture purpose. Until I met my husband I did not know that Jane means 'Gift from God' in Hebrew.

I am not plain Jane, I am strong, brave, courageous, kind, funny Jane. Whom without those around me would be incomplete and nothing.
